Tae (pronounced Tay) Su Jutsu (phonically pronounced jitsu) is a hybrid martial art. It contains a Wing Chun core (for hand speed), the power Kicks (not head high kicks) of Tang Soo Do, and the American Freestyle stances for more agility.

  Tae Su Jutsu was certified as a separate, new and legitimate system of martial arts on February 7, 2002, by Professor James Keane -Keane’s Martial Arts and Self Defense System- Ken Fat Kenpo, and Kajukenfu Budo Kai Kan Kenpo.

  Tae Su Jutsu has a linage which goes back to both Gen. Hong Choi, founder of the International Tae Kwon do Federation, and the O Do Kwan System, and Grandmaster Whang Kee founder of modern Tang Soo Do.

  Dr. Deborah Williams is 54yrs old, and has been in the martial arts for 40+yrs.She began her training in the Chinese of Wing Chun in 1964.Her teacher was Hsiang Chae Chow.Sifu Chow began his study in Wing Chun with his father when he was a child in Peking.His father also taught him some Taiji Ch’uan.His family then moved to Hong Kong, and he moved to the U.S. in 1964 to live with his son after his wife died.He only taught five students after school.He passed away in 1997 at the age of 98.Traditional Wing Chun does not have rank.

  In 1969 Dr. Williams began her studies in Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do with Master Charles Henry, who received his ranking in Tang Soo Do from Grandmaster Kee, and in Tae Kwon Do, from Gen Choi.He taught for Grandmaster Chung, who also received his ranking from Gen. Choi, in Atlanta Georgia.Master Henry was also one of the teachers of Grandmaster Joe Corley, founder of the Joe Corley American Karate System.Grandmaster Corley taught Dr. Williams American Freestyle.

  Dr. Williams received 10 Dan rank for the Unified Martial Arts System on February 01, 2004.Registration number 10029.She is also recognized as a founder and Grandmaster by the International Black Dragon Kung-fu Society of Healing and Com bat Arts.Registration number 83101.

Dr. Williams also holds Black Belt Ranks in the following system/styles.

Okinawan Shorin-ryu, Okinawan Goju-ryu, Japanese Shoto-kan, and Japanese Shito-ryu.

She has also studied others systems to some degree such as Escrima, Iai-do, Kendo, and Khari-Kabong.She continues today to seek out others from different systems to learn from, in order to help her students.
